Ted Hopper

Ted Hopper, known to many in the country music industry, is a country radio legend.  Ted has been in the biz since… Well, we’ll just say long enough.  He’s a member of the Country Radio Hall of Fame and has programmed some of the biggest and most influential country radio stations in America, including 61 Country in Kansas City, WMAQ in Chicago and the home of the Grand Ole Opry, WSM, Nashville.  We’re very happy to have Ted living here in the Mid-Ohio Valley and as part of the Froggy family.

Ted’s the perfect guy to host Froggy’s Country Gold Saturday Night every Saturday evening from 7p.m. to 10 p.m. Country music fans have been asking for it and we’re going to give it to them!  Our listeners have been telling us that they miss that great old country from legendary artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn.  So every Saturday night, we reach back into the deep, dark, dusty files and play some of country music’s best from the past 50 years!
