I love being on air with Woodrow every morning! I'm not from Auburn--or even Indiana originally, but I can say it is the best community I've ever been a part of!
It's GREAT meeting all of our listeners and keeping everyone connected to things going on.
I grew up in a military family in Colorado but spent a couple of years in Texas too. While I miss home, I'm glad to have found my way out east. I went to Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska on a soccer scholarship. I spent most of my time with the college station, KFKX, and landed my first professional gig as a morning show co-host on KLIQ. I graduated with my Media Production/Broadcast degree--and found myself in Indiana.
Now, when I'm not tracking down news, or working on our website, I like to work out. I love music, movies, live shows, and will never turn down a live hockey or baseball game! |

Jason Mraz & Gavin Degraw, Hancock, and of course, BATMAN....
What a busy weekend! I hope everyone else got to get out and enjoy themselves as much as I did :)
If you went to any shows/movies/events you'd like to give YOUR reviews on, leave a comment here, and I'll share them on air with all our Froggy listeners! I'm always a fan of hearing what YOU think!
So here are my reviews from the weekend:
Gavin Degraw and Jason Mraz An AMAZING show! If you have not had the chance to take in a summer show at White River State Park in Indianapolis, I strongly recommend you do! A beautiful venue, and much smaller and more intimate than Verizon Wireless. I've been to a LOT of concerts through the years, and Jason Mraz has now become one of my favorites to see live! He's such a chill guy, who seemed to have so much fun on stage! Two thumbs way up for Jason! I would have really enjoyed Gavin's set too--had his ego not distracted me! Great musically on stage...but seemed a little too hung up on himself.
Batman The Dark Knight One word: FANTASTIC Definetely lived up to the hype, my only dislike is that it was a very LONG movie! TWO thumbs way up for Batman!
Hancock Even though comic book super heroes seem to be getting way overdone these days, I REALLY enjoyed the movie! It's a movie I'd recommend for anyone, it's action packed for guys, and has a love story that us women can enjoy! Another great role for Will Smith | |

Both my parents served in the U.S. Army, so I grew up an Army Brat through and through. One of my favorite events we've been part of at Froggy, is the Independence Day activities at the National History Center...whether you support the war or not, PLEASE support our soldiers!
"Operation Welcome Home" at the WWII Victory Museum drew crowds by the thousands. Some shared memories of time they spent serving our nation, and all who attended had the chance reflect on the sacrifices so many have made, and continue to make for our country. Maggie and I had the honor to meet Gary Moline, who served in Veitnam as a Huey Pilot. Gary shared the story of his encounter with a local family during the event. Click the play button below to hear the inspirational story. |

I'm also a Myspace nut... if you've fallen victim to the same addiction, add Froggy as your friend! |

Check out our Froggy on the Hop page to see when I'll be out and about! I'd LOVE to meet you!
In the mean time, here are some of the things that I've been entertained by and *HAD* to share! |
